What have you been putting off all weekend?
Nothing. That's why I'm tired already and have had no real downtime.

Has anything unlucky happened to you today?
Well, I was going to go grocery shopping as soon as I got home from work, in order to have more time for writing tomorrow. But there's now a 70% chance of thunderstorms this evening, and I can see a big, colorful blob of precipitation making its way with slow, steady, zombie-like persistence toward Toronto on the weather radar map. And of course, I walk and backpack my groceries.
What are the goofy nicknames you have for your pet? Bonus points for sharing a picture of him/her.

That's how I roll. I don't have enough spare time for writing that I can wait for the muse to shit on my head (and that phrase is from Stephen King), so I have to use the Jack London approach.
What are 10 things you've done that other people probably haven't?

Let me qualify this and say that most of the people I know haven't done these things.
1. Attended one of Queen Elizabeth II's summer garden parties at Buckingham Palace and was introduced to Prince Philip.
2. Fired a submachine gun.
3. Stood on lava that was only a week old, and was still warm enough to feel the heat through my sneakers.
4. Crawled twenty feet under a set of railroad boxcars and retrieved a dead cat.
5. Wrote a novel about blogging before I even started a blog of my own.
6. Never cracked open any of the games loaded onto my last two laptops. Not solitaire, freecell or minesweeper.
7. Came back from a two-week vacation in France weighing less than when I left.
8. Had a watch custom made for me with a pirate ship on its face.
9. Arranged a morgue tour for me and a bunch of my friends.
10. Won $1,000 in a short story contest.
