He signed it at a reading where he read from this book. And surprisingly, he did all the voices, very much like in the radio series. He did a perfect Marvin.
Cool! I've been contemplating getting the audiobooks that he read. I have the HGTG read by Stephen Fry, but I don't think he's read any of the others. I should check with my sister, though. I think she may already have them.
I have the original radio series on tape. And four different editions of Last Chance to See. I love how that book is alternately hilarious and heartbreaking, often in the same paragraph.
I had a copy of the audiobook that I got as a freebie promo for Audible, but I don't have the software installed anymore...I wonder if I could still access it somehow. I'd love to hear him read it. Although, the radio series is great for laffs too. :-D
Did you listen to the more recent BBC series that actually changed a couple of big plot points? It was most excellent. It doesn't look like it's archived online, but you can buy them.
Valerae, I just use iTunes to listen to books from Audible. Or probably any other media software, like Windows Media Player or Musicmatch Jukebox, would work, too.

And the reading, too......
So sad he didn't write more books.
I have the whole series on tape with him reading. I have heard other audio versions with other readers but he is by far the best.
