1. Stand down the boarding party, I found my Master and Commander DVD. It had fallen behind the entertainment unit. I looked there this morning, but I looked there tonight WITH A FLASHLIGHT and Ahoy the box! there it was.

Yes, a new tenant at the boxcar cat colony. Just when we need to be downsizing it because of the impending redevelopment of the area! This is not my discovery, Jessie was the first to see her a few nights ago, but I believe I have the first photos. No idea if this is a male or female, but Jessie has named him/her Lincoln. So getting Lincoln will be a trapping expedition real soon, and luckily, s/he looks quite trappable, since s/he comes out to eat while we're in reasonable proximity. I suppose it's too much to hope that Lincoln has a microchip...

I am keeping my fingers crossed that Licoln has a chipor is a lost pet and can go to a forever home.
I know I am a hopeless romantic but I wish they all could go to forever homes.
Did I tell you about my neighbor she has 3 Feral kitties that she tamed so they come right over to her husband and her for pets and loves .. She said it takes at least a year and you can not try to pick them up you have to just keep feeding them and let tehm come closer and closer until they let you pet them.
One of the kitties even trusts other humans too. HE let me hold him and pet him when I was there the last time.
