Bunny's sister

She's exquisite -- they both are -- wow.
I want to scoop them up and hug them and give them catnip and play and just create the best lives for them.....but I guess it'll have to be Sweetie who gets it all -- and he couldn't care less about me (except as the creature who opens cans and turns on the heat and cleans his pan).
Aren't they funny?

You're so very good to do this for them.

awwwwwwwwww!
That's a bummer. She looks mad. She's beautiful though, like bunnycat. Bunny makes me want to adopt a cat, and I have enough pets already.
Bunny is looking up as if to say, "What shall we play now? You still got that feather thing hanging around?" Poor Sophie is huddled into a corner, as if to say...well, not much, poor dear. Do you think there is any hope of getting her socialized? (and yes, the family resemblence is amazing!)
They are SUCH beautiful cats! Poor Sophie. If only she knew that she would have it so much easier if she could socialize.

No, at this late age (9 months now) it's not likely. There was a valiant attempt on the part of a volunteer, though.
too bad that sophie isn't doing as well as her sister.. but she's really cute anyway. at least bunny will find her way into a good home.

so.. what's the count at now? how many cats have you recused/hosteled that have been adopted?
I think there were about 16 kittens and one stray from the boxcar colony, another four kittens plus Caramel from the east-of-downtown colony, then Bunny, and I had a little part in the gray tabby/tortie kitten trio that were all trapped elsewhere. And I'm hoping to trap another litter (number currently unknown) that were born at the east-of-downtown colony in about two weeks.
wow.. that's awesome!

omg.. that reminds me.. i had a dream a few nights ago that i had a kitten, and you came over to see him. and as soon as you stepped in the room the kitten started purring like mad.. and for the whole time i had him he hadn't purred at all. so i was amazed/annoyed.
That's me, I'm the cat whisperer. Also, an update. The volunteer who has Sophie, Bunny's sister, came over tonight to take Monkey back to his colony and she told me she is going to keep trying to socialize Sophie after all.
(thinking happy-mellow-Sophie thoughts)

your dream is right on. I do believe laurie is the CW.

so I take monkey recuperated just fine from his neuter - good luck to him back in the colony. best wishes to the volunteer working with sophie, she's a beauty... but I can't help thinking that sophie should spend some time with laurie, who has the magic feral kitten touch.
